AUTOPISTA nace en el 2012 en la ciudad de Manizales rindiendo tributo a agrupaciones de Rock Clásico, Alternativo & Rock. Sus letras cuentan historias inspiradas en libros, películas y la cotidianidad; abarcándolas desde un punto vista metafórico. Con una base rítmica sólida acompañada de guitarras distorsionadas y acústicas.
EP “Renfield”, está inspirado en la novela Drácula de Bram Stoker :
1-Thirsty Love (Amor sediento) nos cuenta del nacimiento del mal y el amor entre Mina y Drácula
2- Renfield nos cuenta el amor del esclavo hacia su maestro y el experimento de la recolección de almas 3- Scape from Eternity (Escape de la Eternidad) es el escape del mordisco que conlleva a la muerte, la huida y el principio de la pesadilla.
Es una abstracción del Libro vuelta Rock, Blues & Alternativo.
